Key leadership hired for new Digital Health and Discovery Platform led by TFRI and main partner Imagia
Vancouver, BC – The Terry Fox Research Institute (TFRI) is pleased to announce the appointment of two key leadership personnel to develop, implement and manage the new Digital Health and Discovery Platform (DHDP) led by TFRI and its main partner Imagia.
The Digital Health and Discovery Platform (DHDP) is a pan-Canadian initiative focused on improving health outcomes for Canadians by deploying cutting-edge technologies to advance precision medicine. It is the first of its kind in Canada and is a scalable, discovery platform linking healthcare data with AI and other technologies to improve patient outcomes.
“We are pleased to have selected two amazing and extremely high-calibre people with track records for outstanding achievement for the roles of executive director and chief data officer for the DHDP. Both began employment with TFRI in March. They will work with the DHDP’s Executive Committee and stakeholders. They will also serve on the Executive of the Terry Fox Research Institute and work with TFRI’s new Vancouver-based Chief Financial Officer Gordon Schwark, who joined TFRI in February.
