Understanding policies and principles regarding our membership strategy

Membership

The membership strategy is intended to facilitate the sharing and linkage of digital health data and disruptive technologies through an inclusive and Pan-Canadian membership structure. This strategy will focus on stimulating and sustaining membership to advance the DHDP vision and promote a ‘network effect’ to accelerate innovation.

The DHDP membership strategy supports the forward-looking development of the Platform. This includes a membership structure that is inclusive to academic and industry collaborators, and organizations of all sizes including academia, research foundations, granting agencies and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) from across Canada (including technology MNEs and SMEs) and recognizes different categories of membership based on Members’ status, contributions and participation in the platform. The Membership strategy will include guidelines for member roles & responsibilities and onboarding new members, mapping member interests and policy proposals for best practice approaches.
